I Have A Dream Too, Do You?

I have a dream that one day this nation can come together without noticing the color of each other’s skin, what clothes they wear, and even what color they paint their toes.

I have a dream that one day people won’t care about the thickness of your lips, but the thickness of your heart.
I have a dream that little kids won’t exclude other kids from their game of tag because of they way they look.
This is my hope and my faith. With this faith we will be able to walk into a room full of other races, cultures, and religions and not have to feel uncomfortable.
This will be the day when I will not worry about my niece being an African American/ Indian in our world today!NO_RACISM!.png

I Took My Baby
On A Saturday Bang
Boy Is That Girl With You
Yes We're One And The Same

Now I Believe In Miracles
And A Miracle
Has Happened Tonight

But, If
You're Thinkin'
About My Baby
It Doesn't Matter If You're
Black Or White

They Print My Message
In The Saturday Sun
I Had To Tell Them
I Ain't Second To None

And I Told About Equality
An It's True
Either You're Wrong
Or You're Right

But, If
You're Thinkin'
About My Baby
It Doesn't Matter If You're
Black Or White

On A Global Scale
I'd Rather Hear Both Sides
Of The Tale
See, It's Not About Races
Just Places
Faces
Where Your Blood
Comes From
Is Where Your Space Is
I've Seen The Bright

I'm Not Going To Spend
My Life Being A Color

The title of this song “Black or White” says it all. This song corresponds with my speech perfectly. In my speech I was trying to get across that racism has been around for a long time and needs to cease! Also along with racism, comes equality and that’s an urgent subject that needs to be “pushed” into our reality more often. In Micheal Jackson’s song “Black or White”, he was going for the same idea that I was going for in my “I Have A Dream Too” speech. Micheal Jackson’s lyric’s, “You're Thinkin' About My Baby It Doesn't Matter If You're Black Or White” proves that he was trying to say that race doesn’t matter in his eyes, as long as he was in love with this person.
